Welcome to YLG!

The Young Leaders Group (YLG) is made up of young professionals from the private and public sectors involved in real estate development, architecture, marketing, finance, urban planning, transportation, construction, policy, and more.  Seattle YLG offers individuals under the age of 35 a variety of opportunities to become actively involved in helping shape the region's conversation in land use planning and development.

Our mission is to increase the involvement and influence of young real estate professionals in ULI; develop opportunities for the industry's young leaders to interact professionally and socially with experienced professionals; and to provide on-going, strategic support within each of the established District Council committees.

Today's young leaders are tomorrow's visionaries -- join Seattle YLG today and stay connected to the ideas, strategies and policies that will shape Seattle and the region in the years to come.

YLG Leadership Forum

The YLG Leadership Team hosts an on-going series of events called the Leadership Forum designed to foster professional relationships and connections between members of the YLG community and senior level leaders in the real estate and land use fields. These are small scale and informal events at which Young Leaders can ask questions freely, gain valuable insights from industry veterans, and develop professional relationships. The conversation is specifically focused on such topics as career development, local real estate trends, and networking/educational opportunities. Since beginning in 2008, Leadership Forum events have been held with many of the region's top developers, land use attorneys, architects, non-profit leaders, public policy experts and politicians.

These events are FREE, open to YLG MEMBERS ONLY, and attendance is limited to the first 15 people who register.

Please visit the events page to see upcoming YLG Leadership forum events!
